In order to ensure that he connects deeply with each of his clients and can deliver a true elevated music experience, Bryen takes on a limited number of clients per year. By doing so, his focus can be solely on creating dance parties that are fresh, unique, and reflective of the guests in the room. Whether an intimate gathering, a timeless wedding, or opening for headlining acts, each track is carefully selected and mixed to perfection to make the crowd feel connected to the music on a personal level. WHAT IS THE PROCESS LIKE WORKING WITH YOU?
Simple and fun! Bryen will learn more about you and your musical preferences throughout your time working together. He also has an easy questionnaire for you to fill out to give him specific details on your music preferences.
HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC TO PLAY AT DIFFERENT EVENTS?
Bryen works closely to understand his clients on a personal level and will always discuss your must plays and do not plays. Based on your conversations, he will come to your event prepared and adjust appropriately as the night goes on by reading the crowd.
DO YOU KNOW HOW TO MIX?
Absolutely! Mixing music and beat matching is one of the most important things to Bryen as a DJ. Your dance party will be filled with seamless transitions from track to track, genre to genre.
WILL YOU BE THE MC FOR THE EVENING?
Bryen will make any announcements or introductions you request. He is very comfortable speaking in front of a crowd but knows that this is your day and never talks needlessly on the microphone.
ARE YOU INSURED?
No doubt-- Bryen is fully insured for whatever your venue requires.
DO YOU PLAY EDITED VERSIONS OF SONGS?
Always, unless otherwise requested by his clients!
DO YOU PROVIDE LIGHTING OR A PHOTOBOOTH?
Bryen feels strongly that a DJ should not be in charge of anything but the music for the event. If your DJ is focused on the lighting or a photobooth, chances are they aren't 100% focused on your dance party. Bryen is happy to send you a list of his favorite lighting and photobooth companies if you'd like to hire someone on for these elements.
ANY REQUIREMENTS WE SHOULD KNOW?
With some exceptions, Bryen does require all wedding clients have a designated wedding planner or day of coordinator. The evening runs smoothest that way! Bryen is happy to provide you with recommendations if you aren't working with someone just yet.
